Traditionally bed frame construction has been a labor intensive, manual job. For bed frame construction, Viking has developed the 60.20 Nailer, a flat surface, two operator Skute. Viking widened and flattened the Skute to create the 60.20 Nailer (60” wide with a 20' long work surface). The 60.20 nailer is increasing fed frame production with less labor and helping to provide a safer working environment for wooden bed frame manufacturing. Viking is also completing a new 81.30 Nailer for another bedding customer to meet its automation needs in a different part of its production line.
Any company that is currently manually nailing bed frames or has turned down bed frame work because it believes bed frames are not profitable might want to check out this new application of the Skute nailing system, which Viking introduced at the last Richmond Show.
