Viking Engineering & Development has brought on David Klundt to serve as the regional account manager for the Midwest region. No stranger to industrial machinery, Klundt brings extensive experience in capital equipment sales and a track record of supporting large-scale production environments.
Before stepping into the pallet industry, David Klundt built his career as a product sales specialist for Appleton Mfg., where he covered a multi-state territory focused on the paper industry. There, he developed a reputation for helping customers optimize processes, improve safety, and streamline operations through a highly consultative and technical approach.
“I’ve always believed that if you’re going to recommend a piece of equipment, you have to understand not just the specs, but how it fits into the customer’s process and goals,” Klundt stated when describing the philosophy he brings to his new job at Viking.
His focus at Viking will be helping pallet manufacturers improve efficiency, safety, and reliability through automation and high-performance machinery. “This is an industry that values relationships, trust, and hard work.
