Universal Machinery Adds Key Staff Member, Chad Morgan

Universal Machinery Sales Inc., which has supplied the equipment needs of the pallet industry for over 45 years, has just announced the addition of a new, strategic member to the company, Chad Morgan. He will assume the position of general manager and director of manufacturing operations.

Chad Morgan has been in the industry since 2008, starting from the base of the machines fabricating resaw bands to the final paint process. He is a third-generation manufacturing expert having worked to produce Morgan Saws machinery. Alongside his father Mark Morgan and mother Kristi Morgan, they have grown Sawmill Supplies and Equipment LLC into an international sawmill manufacturing business.

Mona Tracy, president and founder of Universal Machinery, noted, “Chad’s knowledge in fabricating and design can help customers realize their goals and potentials. He has a reputation for understanding a customer’s needs and designing equipment to outlast the competition with rugged, simplistic designs and ease of maintenance. He has strived since the beginning to design and build equipment that he can stand behind, whether a new machine or restoring used equipment.”

God has blessed him with his loving wife Brittany and son Cooper. Looking to continue the Morgan family legacy, Chad is operating the business in an honorable way, something that he is trying to instill in the next generation, according to Tracy.

She added, “Now with a full machine shop with wife Brittany, Sawmill Manufacturing business with Mark and Kristi, connections with other manufacturers, and extensive customer base, he is ready to meet any of your needs for new and used equipment. With his experience, we feel he is a good choice for Universal Machinery and its customers.” To connect with Chad Morgan, call Universal Machinery at (812) 298-8090 or e-mail sales.universalmachinerysales@gmail.com.
