Pallet Chief, a leading supplier of cost-competitive pallet nailing solutions, has just launched its latest “state-of-the-art” nailing machine, the Apache. It can be customized to any size and is ideal for producing over-sized pallets.
The Apache features a board size sensor to ensure accurate nail firing, programmable logic controls (PLC) controls, and individually-shifting guns for unmatched precision and performance. A standard flipper comes standard for producing standard-sized pallets and a side flipper is optional for oversized pallet production. The side flipper removes one of the biggest stress points for heavy, oversized pallets.
The Apache’s innovative nail sensor eliminates the need for firing pen adjustments. In addition, the system includes nail guns that shift automatically, either all the guns or the outside ones for dual outside stringers. Every Apache comes with Pallet Chief’s deluxe board stackers that allow the placement of two different board sizes.
PLCs enable the easy loading of new pallet sizes. Once the proper size is selected, the operator can start the assembly process with just the push of one button.
Vern Ogle, product line manager for Pallet Chief, said, “The Apache is built to handle the most demanding production environments and is the most durable machine to date produced by Pallet Chief. The impressive size and output of the machine makes it stand, all for under $500,000.”
Ogle added, “We believe the PLC Apache offers new, innovative features that will significantly enhance the efficiency of your pallet production.”
