Designed for anyone looking to cut to size new or reclaimed lumber, the new Universal Machinery Sales hopper-fed double end trim saw eliminates constant monitoring of a hand-fed machine. It features two 10” blades and can come with a 12” blade option. The machine has a 5hp motor on each blade and a 1hp motor on feed drive.
The trim saw is designed to accommodate 1/2” to 2” board thickness and is crank adjustable to cut 20” to 60” lengths. Mona Tracy, president of Universal Machinery Sales, explained, “Our new double end trim saw can process 47 boards per minute and is an efficient way to cut boards to size…This is our standard machine, but we can meet your custom specifications.”
