Lenox Adds 3 Blades for Cutting Metals

American Saw & Mfg. Company has introduced three new band saw blades for metal cutting applications.

The Lenox Lightning CT is a titanium nitride coated, carbide tipped blade engineered for high production cutting of steel allows. It cuts and clears material at higher cutting rates. Applications include carbon steels, alloy steels, mold steels, tool steels, and stainless steels.

The Lenox Rx+ bi-metal blade features a rigid Isophonic™ tooth design, minimizing vibration during cutting, reducing harmonics and extending blade life. It improves cutting performance on structural steel, I-beam, angle iron, channel iron, tubing, pipe, wide flange beam and nested bundles.

The Lenox SST Carbide™ blade is for foundry applications. The set style tooth creates a wide kerf, which allows the blade to cut easily through forgings at high cutting rates. Applications include cast aluminum and other non-ferrous metals as well as nonmetallics such as graphite, composites and abrasive materials.
