Mr. Tom Knowlton is managing the F.W.Morse/PVI Co. machine shop for manufacturing, repairing, and supplying spare parts for nailing machines, including pallet nailers, wooden box nailers, tackless carpet nailers, and cable reel machines. F.W.Morse/PVI Co. bought the former Morgan Gage, which supplied a similar line of parts and services for many years to our industry.
F.W. Morse specializes in machines made by Doig, Morgan, FMC and Gage. Morse can also make parts from samples, including chucks, chuck jaws, driver rods, springs and all other parts for customers’ nailing machines. At the end of 2011, PVI acquired the designs of Morgan and Gage machines. F.W. Morse will continue its predecessor’s support of old machines and the manufacture of new nailing machinery. The new company has a full service machine shop to support its new, more complete services to the pallet industry.
