Eagles Forest Products Acquires Oregon Facility

Eagle Forest Products announces that it is purchasing the lumber manufacturing plant of Family Pallet Lumber company in Tangent, Oregon. This purchase will close by year’s end and will result in a significant increase in production at this facility going forward. John Peaslee, previously with Idaho Timber, will be the general manager of manufacturing operations for Eagle Forest in Tangent.

Eagle Forest Products is a lumber manufacturing and marketing company with manufacturing operations in Tangent and Roseburg, Oregon; Greenleaf, Wisconsin; Magnolia, Arkansas; and Piedmont, Alabama. The company also has sales and distribution operations in Eagle, Idaho;  Montgomery, Texas; and Chesapeake, Virginia. Eagle is a supplier of both softwoods and hardwoods, including cut stock, pallet components, lumber, mill run rough, panel products, ag bin components, cedar fencing and more. Its expert staff has more than 150 combined years of experience in the lumber industry.
