Becker Underwood, a supplier of mulch coloring equipment and colorants, has acquired Urbana Laboratories and Seedbiotics as well as a line of seed coating products. Terms were not disclosed.
Urbana Laboratories is a producer of rhizobium inoculant for legume crops and Seedbiotics is a seed coating company. The Sepiret range of seed coating products is made by the French-based specialty chemical producer Seppic.
In addition to manufacturing mulch coloring equipment and colorants, Becker Underwood is a producer of bioagrinomic products.
The acquisitions continue the company’s plan for strategic growth through acquisition and product development.
