Atlanta Expo Slated June 25-27;

The Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition will be held June 25-27 in Atlanta. Online registration will be available beginning Jan. 27.

The Atlanta Expo, as the trade show is also known, will be held in the newest hall of the Georgia World Congress Center, which has 120,000 square feet for exhibits. The biennial trade show is expected to feature some 300 suppliers exhibiting machinery and equipment for forest products, including lumber, panels, engineered wood, pallets, treating, and secondary processing. It is expected to be the largest display of forest products equipment in the Eastern U.S. in 2003.

The Expo also will feature 20 technical seminars over the three days of the trade show.

Sponsored and conducted for years by the Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA), the trade show will once again be co-sponsored by the SFPA and APA-The Engineered Wood Association, which was a co-sponsor in 2001.

Online registration for Expo and the seminars will be available after 12 p.m. EST Jan. 27 at www.sfpa.org/expo. Advance registration is $5, and the deadline is May 26.
