American Wood Inspection Services (AWIS) is a third party, ALSC-accredited inspection agency that assists companies in making their wood packaging ISPM-15 compliant for export.
Craig Martin of AWIS, explained, “Our goal is is to assure compliance with international standards in an accommodating and efficient manner with comprehensive and specific inspections.”
Inspection fees can be structured a number of different ways depending on a company’s needs. AWIS does not require long-term contracts and service can be cancelled at any time.
Stamps, stencils, brands and supplies will be issued at the manufacturer’s cost. AWIS does not upcharge on any supplies whether ordered directly or through AWIS.
