Taking up the theme of the upcoming U.S. Presidential election, Hub Industrial, a leading supplier of recycling and safety equipment to the pallet industry, has launched a new promotional campaign involving its “You’re the Boss!” slogan. Over the last several years, Hub has used the “You’re the Boss!” slogan and a picture of the company president, Gabriel Curry (who also has been a regular contributor to Pallet Enterprise) on its boxes, packaging, website and promotional efforts to convey the message that Hub listens to its customers.
Curry said, “I would like to think I have been doing a pretty good job of making sure every HUB customer knows and feels like they are our boss…That’s right: with this being an election year, I wanted to give our customers a chance to let us know who should be the real president of our ‘You’re the Boss!’ campaign.”
From now until June 28, 2012, the industry will be able to cast votes for your candidate and give them the opportunity to put their image on the side of HUB Industrial boxes for one year. By voting, you are automatically entered in a drawing for one of several prizes totaling over $2,500! This includes: jumbo helicopters, iPod Shuffles, Kindle Touch, Beats by Dr. Dre. headphones and an iPad.
The nine candidates will compete for votes. The relatively long duration of this election will be subdivided into four segments: the first three segments, called primary or caucus seasons, will stand both as distinct segments of time in which votes within those segments will be eligible for prizes in separate drawings and as contiguous parts of the general election. The conclusion of each primary or caucus will be followed by a prize drawing and an announcement the following Monday of the winners. At the conclusion of the 3 “primaries”, the votes from all three primaries will be combined and added to by the forth segment of the contest, the “General Election,” which will conclude on June 28.
Industry members can cast as many votes as they want. Limit one vote per day. Each vote increases your odds of winning a prize. No purchase necessary to vote. However, you can make extra votes in conjunction with an order. For more information on the candidates or to register to vote visit http://www.vote4hub.com/
