Mark Yoder, who joined Industrial Resources in 2006 as its customer service manager to improve technical services, has become president of the company. He is used to working with customers to keep them satisfied with their capital equipment investments, including fabricated, fluid, air, and electrical components. His role expanded to sales, production, electrical engineering, and manufacturing operations.
Before joining Industrial Resources, Mr. Yoder was customer service manager of Columbus McKinnon, Mr. Yoder saw to it that distributors and consumers had on-time deliveries and long-term technical support. Some of its products were manufactured as far back as the 1920s, so the mix between old and new was both challenging and rewarding.
At Brunswick Bowling and Billiards Corp, his management expertise in technical field services for electro-mechanical capital equipment earned him a reputation for high-quality product development, after-sales support, and extreme customer satisfaction. His 19-year career with Brunswick spanned multiple product introductions over markets in Europe, Asia and North America.
Mr. Yoder holds a master’s degree in industrial management and an electronics degree from Purdue University. Mr. Yoder is a licensed amateur radio operator and lives with his wife Karen in Grand Haven, Mich.
