The Steel City Colors Mulch Coloring System can produce 50-150 cubic yards of colored mulch per hour. The independent, variable speed infeed hopper provides uniform metered flow of material into the mixing chamber.
The system features a patent-pending, innovative, spring-tooth cylinder mixing and coloring technology. The multi-cylinder design provides intense agitating, mixing and tumbling action and can handle stringy, tough mulch, rocks, metal and other foreign material without damage. The coloring system has low water consumption and energy requirements.
The Steel City Colors Mulch Coloring System has a 10 cubic yard infeed hopper with a 5 hp electric motor. The mixing chamber is powered by a 25 hp electric motor. Gas or diesel generator drive package is optional.
Steel City Colors also supplies mulch colorants that incorporate high quality synthetic iron oxide, making them resistant to ultra-violet rays and preventing fading colors. They are available in such colors as black, two shades of brown, three shades of red, and cypress.
