Mayfran Machine Converts Wood Fiber, Waste Material to Briquettes

The Mayfran International FastPac™ Briquetter transforms wood fiber and other materials into dense, compact, recyclable briquettes that are more valuable and easier to handle.

The FastPac can use paper and corrugated, dust and sludge from filters, wood and sawdust, fibers, plastics, agriculture and yard materials, and aluminum beverage cans. The machine provides a six to eight times reduction factor, depending on the type of material.

The FastPac’s dual-stage compacting process and dual-action compression-ejection cycle requires less horsepower, reducing energy consumption and operating costs. The FastPac operates virtually unattended except for keeping the load hopper full, which can be automated.

Mayfran indicates that the machine can pay for itself in one year or less by increasing the value of recycled scrap material and reducing removal costs.

Mayfran International, which has facilities in the U.S. and eight other countries, designs and manufactures conveyors and processing systems for the recycling industry.
