At its recent annual meeting the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association chose its new slate of officers to provide industry leadership through the next year. At the annual meeting, the association’s outgoing Board Chairman Sam McAdow of Buckeye Diamond Logistics gave one of his customary outstanding speeches before he turned the chairmanship over to Hamlet Fort of Pallet Makers, Inc. James Ruder of L&R Pallet Service became the new Secretary/Treasurer.
The Board of Directors for the next year will include Bernie Bartley of Robinson Pallet & Equipment Co., Inc., Clint Binley of Pallets Incorporated, David Eason of Industrial Wood, LLC, Louis Glascock of Dodd Saw Mills, Inc., Stephen Grimes of Pallet Resource of NC, Inc., Terry Rodino of Recycled New Pallets, Inc., Howe Wallace of PalletOne, Inc., Greg Vipond of Girard Wood Products, Inc., Rob Trexler of Pasadena Skid & Pallet, Jordan Piland of Atlas Pallets/A Division of Williamsburg Millwork, and Robert Wenner of Pallet Service Corp.
Paula Turlington of SII Dry Kiln returns as the associates’ representative on the Board, and John Dye of Marlaw Pallet Services, Ltd, in Scotland is the new international director on the Board.
