Wood-Mizer Products has introduced a new sharpener for bandsaw blades. The Shop Series sharpener and manual tooth setter utilizes CBN super abrasive technology.
The kit comes with the profile sharpener with CBN super abrasive technology, manual tooth setter, CBN super abrasive grinding wheel of your choice, and five gallons of sharpening oil.
Wood-Mizer developed the kit to provide customers an easy, efficient, cost-effective and safe way to sharpen blades.
It uses pre-formed grinding wheels that do not require shaping or dressing. They ensure consistent tooth geometry, provide a superior cutting edge and restore gullet integrity. A variety of profiles are available.
Wood-Mizer plans to introduce a Pro Series sharpener in the spring of 2008 for high production sawmills.
