Industrial Reporting, which publishes Pallet Enterprise magazine, has begun to publish and distribute a new electronic newsletter, Enterprise Insight. The electronic newsletter is an e-mail document and will be distributed via e-mail to coincide with the publication of the magazine.
Subscribers of Enterprise Insight should receive the newsletter via e-mail around the end of the preceding month or the first of the month. The newsletter will be distributed free to subscribers of Pallet Enterprise.
Enterprise Insight contains a preview of the leading articles in Pallet Enterprise as well as other news and information for the forest products industry. Along with brief descriptions of key articles, the newsletter contains hyperlinks so the articles may be viewed at the Pallet Enterprise Web site (www.palletenterprise.com). This allows subscribers to view and read the magazine articles before they actually receive the magazine.
In addition, just as the magazine contains an Advertiser Directory, a list of advertisers appearing in the magazine in any given month and their phone numbers, Enterprise Insight will include a list of the monthly magazine advertisers along with a hyperlink to the advertiser’s Web site.
“Enterprise Insight will give readers a jump on the top stories in the upcoming issue of Pallet Enterprise as well as expose them to information that could not fit in the print publication,” said Chaille Brindley, assistant publisher. “For companies that want to be one step ahead, Enterprise Insight will help them.”
Enterprise Insight also provides additional exposure for advertisers, he noted. The monthly newsletter also contains space for one sponsoring advertiser.
Enterprise Insight also contains a summary of ‘Market Update,’ the monthly column by market analyst Jeff McBee, a ‘Quote of the Month,’ summaries of other Pallet Enterprise articles, and a calendar of upcoming industry meetings, trade shows and events.
“More people in the pallet and sawmill industries are communicating electronically and want the information they need in electronic format,” said Chaille. “Information created and distributed for the Internet can be shared with more people in their business and networks, and shared more rapidly. Enterprise Insight, in conjunction with our Web site, will help meet their needs for information and communication.”
“Enterprise Insight is convenient,” added Chaille. “People can get a look at that month’s issue of Pallet Enterprise by e-mail at work or home or while traveling. It can be viewed on a desktop or laptop computer or other device or printed on a desktop printer.”
The first issue of Enterprise Insight was distributed with the publication of the November issue of Pallet Enterprise.
