Pallet Enterprise magazine will host a ground breaking audio conference for pallet suppliers on October 17, 2007.
The guest speaker for the conference will be Clarence Leising, a pallet industry veteran and recycling specialist. He will cover two topics of critical importance to the pallet industry – dispatching and transportation services as a source of new business for innovative companies and piece-rate pay plans for workers.

Earlier in his career, Leising held management positions in pallet recycling companies in the Northeast for 25 years. He also has authored Pallet Head, a book about how to run a pallet recycling business. He also has been a contributing author to Pallet Enterprise, specializing in recycling topics, and
has been a speaker at trade association meetings.
Leising previously worked for Bronco Pallet Systems, which supplies semi-automated nailing equipment for pallet manufacturers and recyclers.
In his articles and his remarks, Leising draws heavily on his management experience in pallet recycling as well as the regular contact he has with pallet suppliers as a representative of Eagle Metal Products.
Leising will be joined by Dick Burns, his long-time friend and mentor in the pallet business. Burns is the owner of Western New York Pallet. Burns has had management responsibilities and performed truck dispatching functions in pallet recycling companies.
